Trimhuur was started in 1999 as an idea to help starting groomers.
Because a lot of professional grooming products are very expensive, some starting groomers can not effort them and therefore work with the wrong tools causing all kinds of physical problems. These groomers could not experience the joy of working with the right tools.
For example: who has not started with a handdryer trying to dry a big Berner of 40kg?? Even now there are groomers who have to lift these kind of heavy dogs just because they cannot effort an electrical table. Grooming products are still very expensive especially if you look at the salary a groomer earns in 1 hour. Trimhuur trys to give groomers the opportunaty to work with the right tools without to much obligations.
To spread the high amount there has been choosen for hiring also because a groomer is not restricted to any difficult contracts then. By a normal loan (or lease) one always have to proof he/she is capable of paying the montly amount and must pay the complete loan. With hiring one rents for a periode of 1 month and always has the possibility to bring back the product at any time. Ofcourse the groomer can keep on hiring untill he has payed the total amount of the product.
Besides the products for rent more and more groomers asked for products to buy. To satisfy these needs Trimhuur started importing in 2000 all kinds of products keeping in mind most important thought Trimhuur is based on : making it possible for groomers to work with professional products. So prices must be reasonable , not only the prices of "big" products like elec.tables but also for "small"products like combs or shampoos.
Trimhuur has developed many interesting products during the time and established many different brands in the Netherlands which are interesting for groomers all over the world. Therefore Trimhuur started in 2007 with export to wholesalers in other countries.
